Hello, my name is Laura Carmona.
I am a graphic design freelancer currently seeking work in the corporate field. I am a dedicated designer who maintains a strong work ethic.
Throughout my early education, art has always been an interest of mine. I always liked getting involved in the art departments. What I was most interested in was graphic design. Alongside teachers, I worked on helping them with the school website and newspaper with conceptual ideation. I have experience in software such as Adobe ( Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop), and Microsoft (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
My skills have progressed since graduating college. I am now well-rounded in typography, photography & editing. Also I have great communication skills, and I am fluent in Spanish. I graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago with a BFA in Graphic Design with a GPA of 3.33 in the Summer of 2017.
